Springtime in Kentucky brings forth an amazing display of wildflowers to the Kentucky River Palisades. Formed from the oldest exposed rock in Kentucky, the Palisades are carpeted with such early arrivals as the showy fire pink, dwarf larkspur and Jacob's Ladder.
Our staff naturalist and guides lead your exploration of our 3,000 acre site. You will study wildflower and woody plant identification and the geologic history of Central Kentucky.
