Add a little adventure to your day.  Join our talented staff and partners for a FREE day packed full of guided hikes, kids' nature programs, fishing, waterfalls, vista views and plenty of fresh air. Adventure Day at Shaker Village welcomes the community to explore our 3,000-acre backyard.

Adventure Day has something for everyone. Get the kids outdoors to explore the creek in search of rarely seen critters. Have an up close encounter with birds of prey. Bring your canoe or kayak and paddle up the Dix River. Saddle your horse and spend a full day riding the trails.

Due to last summer's drought and other circumstances, we will not be hosting our annual kids' fishing contest. The contest will be back next year! ADMISSION REQURED FOR TOUR, RIVERBOAT RIDES AND WAGON RIDE.
