Take on the challenging project of making a Kentucky Berry Basket in a day! Learn the art of weaving using natural reed to make a basket that is perfect for storing odds and ends or for trips to the local farmer’s market.

All necessary materials are provided. No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

Price (Includes a boxed lunch):

Join us for a sunset yoga flow class amongst the blooms and pollinators. This session will be friendly to all levels of yoga, and will include a flower bouquet that is hand picked and crafted by you! With an acre of zinnias and cosmos in full bloom you're bound to leave feeling as bright as the flowers.

After class walk over to the Trustees' lawn overlooking our organic garden for Music on the Lawn to enjoy live music, fellowship and a cocktail bar.

Bring your own yoga mat, or let us know if you need to borrow one of ours for this fun outdoor experience on the Farm. Namaste!

Bill Berryman Art

Whether looking into the face of a young Shaker girl, or a lone coat hanging against a stark, aged wall, you may sense another presence in the room when viewing Bill Berryman’s creations. Berryman weaves stories throughout his work with detailed yet simplistic images.

Join Bill Berryman as he demonstrates his artistic process through drawings and paintings. This demonstration will take in the Shaker Village Welcome Center, and guests will be able to interact with the artist and discuss his process.

Artist's Statement

My current work is inspired by the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. It is composed of representational drawings and watercolors of portraits, architectural studies, still life and animals.

The Village is a place that is very special to me, and my art helps me to share it with others.
