2025 Winter Woods Walk

As February cabin fever sets in, it's time to get outside and enjoy the beauty of a tranquil evening at Shaker Village. We'll explore some of the Preserve's hiking trails by twilight, all the while keeping our eyes and ears alert for the many creatures that make Shaker Village their home. Wintertime is the perfect occasion to learn more about the crepuscular critters who emerge in twilight and flourish in darkness.
Weather permitting, the Winter Woods Walk will end with fellowship and light refreshments around a warming bonfire.
Annual Passholder: $15
General Admission: $25
This hike will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Participants will traverse gravel, grass, and dirt pathways on a 1.5-3.0 mile loop along Shaker Village's trails. Participants should be comfortable walking in low light/semi-dark conditions.
The Winter Woods Walk is intended for ages 12+. All minors must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Tickets required for guests aged 5+.
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
