Night Hike: Astronomy

The night sky and the cosmos have been a source of inspiration and amazement throughout human history. Join us for an evening at Pleasant Hill and explore the starry sky. On this gentle hike through the Preserve, take in the wonders of the prairie and forest at night while learning about some of the mysteries and curiosities of the universe. Along the way, we will identify and observe constellations that are visible in our hemisphere during the summer months.

Annual Passholder: FREE
Non-Annual Passholder: $5
All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should meet at the Welcome Center by 9:00 pm. All guests should bring flashlights that they can use to assist them return to their vehicles or rooms at the conclusion of the evening.
To ensure the safety of our guests and staff all participants will be required to wear a mask. When gathered in a group masks must be worn, but when hiking they may be removed. Social distancing will also be enforced.
