Great American Brass Band Festival at Shaker Village

Shaker Village continues its annual tradition of supporting the Great American Brass Band Festival by hosting The Walnut Street Ramblers for a special performance on The Trustees' Table lawn.
You won't want to miss this incredible event, pairing world-class music with the backdrop of historic Shaker Village. In addition to the music, enjoy drinks from the outdoor bar, take a stroll in the garden, attend an evening tour and stick around for dinner and more Music on the Lawn throughout the evening.

About The Walnut Street Ramblers
The Walnut Street Ramblers have performed at many locations in Kentucky including Danville’s Great American Brass Band Festival; Ashland’s Paramount Theatre; Harrodsburg’s Fort Harrod Jazz Festival; Lexington’s Moondance Theatre, Grand Reserve, and Speakeasy; Bardstown’s Summer Concert Series; and Pleasant Hill’s Shaker Village.
The Ramblers’ repertoire spans ragtime-era music including Scott Joplin; New Orleans traditional jazz by Jelly-Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong; and hot 1920s music by composers such as Fats Waller, Hoagy Carmichael and Cole Porter.
Members of the Ramblers have appeared with such noted artists as Wynonna Judd, Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls, the Manhattan Transfer, and Aretha Franklin. The Walnut Street Ramblers promise you a hot time--listen, celebrate, and enjoy as they recreate the great times in America’s music.
