Know Before You Go
A construction project along U.S. Route 68 in Jessamine County is currently underway. Part of this project will require U.S. 68 to be closed for approximately 36 days beginning on May 31, 2023.
A detour route along U.S. 68 will be setup that connects to U.S. 27, but if you are traveling to Shaker Village from Lexington and points surrounding Fayette County you may want to consider taking an alternate route. Scroll down for directions and maps via the Bluegrass Parkway and U.S. 27. We will continue to post updates as the construction project progresses.

Bluegrass Parkway Directions
Take US-60 West/Versailles Rd toward Versailles/Bluegrass Parkway
Merge onto KY-9002 West/Bluegrass Parkway toward Lawrenceburg/Elizabethtown
Take Exit 59A to merge onto US-127 South/Harrodsburg Rd toward Harrodsburg/Danville
Turn Left onto US-127 Bypass South
Turn Left onto US-68 East/Lexington Road
Turn Left to enter Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
U.S. 27 Directions
Take US-27 South toward Nicholasville
Turn right onto KY-152 West
Head east on East Main St toward South Peach St
Turn left onto Pleasant Hill Dr
Continue onto Shakertown Rd
Continue straight through the stop sign at the US-68 intersection to enter Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
