Stand Up Paddle
Saturday, October 7 | 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Join us for an adventure through the Kentucky River Palisades! Paddle (standing up) the Kentucky and Dix Rivers amongst the cliffs and High Bridge. This guided group trip is led by Kentucky by Paddle and leaves from Shaker Landing.
Once you're back on land enjoy hot cider and cookies around the fire pit while you get to know your new paddle-loving friends.
Pricing
Bing Your Own Stand Up Paddleboard: $45 per person
Stand Up Paddleboard Rental: $80 per person
This program is for guests ages 12 and up. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Guests should plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m. and meet at the top of River Road located .25 miles east of the main Shaker Village entrance, on the opposite side of US 68. There is a Shaker Landing sign at the road’s entrance.
Program fee includes one complimentary admission to Shaker Village and one voucher redeemable for 20% off dining at The Trustees’ Table (excluding alcoholic beverages). Dining reservations recommended to assure availability call: 859.734.5411.
Stand Up Paddles are weather-dependent, and may be cancelled due to inclement weather. In these cases the decision to cancel will be made 24 hours prior to the event and a full refund will be issued to each registered participant.
