Come for a weekend getaway to enjoy reading while meeting fellow book lovers and participating in discussions and book-themed fun.

- A Friday and Saturday night stay in one of Shaker Village's historic guest rooms
- A copy of the upcoming book, Praisesong for the Kitchen Ghosts: Stories and Recipes from Five Generations of Black Country Cooks by Kentucky Poet Laureate and award-winning author Crystal Wilkinson (mailed to each participant in advance)
- An in-room gift of a journal and pen
- Exclusive programs to immerse you in the book
- Breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday.
As an added treat, author Crystal Wilkinson will be joining attendees for a private dinner and book discussion on Saturday night!
