Basic Chair Taping - Footstool

The Shakers used a distinctive material for crafting seats — colorful, woven strips known as “tape” or “listing.” In this workshop, you’ll get to learn the art of chair taping for yourself!
We’ll use a mix of traditional and modern materials, and you’ll walk away with a woven footstool in a color combination that’s uniquely yours. No experience necessary and all materials provided.

Annual Passholder: $105
Non-Annual Passholder: $115
Program fee includes one complimentary admission to Shaker Village and one voucher for 20% off dining at The Trustees’ Table (excluding alcoholic beverages).
