2026 Basket Weavers’ Gathering
Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Calling all basket weavers to join us for a special day at Pleasant Hill! Bring your current project and join us for a day of work and fellowship in Shaker Village's Centre Family Dwelling.
Weavers are welcome to bring current projects, along with any finished samples of their work that they'd like to share. Shaker Village will provide work tables and a limited water supply.
Centre Family Dwelling will be open to the public throughout the day, and weavers will be encouraged to share their projects and chat with visiting guests. Shaker Village staff will also be present to introduce the Village's exciting new program showcasing heritage crafts: the Bluegrass Heritage Craft Guild. All weavers planning to attend must preregister to receive complimentary admission. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
