The Shaker celebration of Christmas has changed dramatically in the 200+ years the Shaker religion has existed in America. Together we will trace the evolution of Christmas celebrations in Shaker communities like Pleasant Hill and compare them to the contemporary interpretations of the holiday season.

Attending a Candlelight Tour on Saturday includes admission to Illuminated Evenings.
