2025 Gingerbread Showcase

Get in the holiday spirit by entering your homemade gingerbread house in Shaker Village’s inaugural gingerbread contest. All entries will be displayed during Illuminated Evenings and throughout December, giving all of Shaker Village’s guests a chance to vote for their favorite gingerbread creation.
Separate judging categories for youth (12 and under), teen (ages 13-18), adult, and professional. The winner in each category will receive a free family Annual Pass ($150 value) and the entry with the most overall votes will win a 1-night overnight stay for 2 people at The Inn. Votes will be tallied and the winners announced on December 22.
To enter the Gingerbread Showcase:
- Entry should be contained on a base that is no larger than 20” x 20”
- All elements (other than the base) must be edible
- Entries will not be returned at the end of the contest unless specific arrangements are made with Shaker Village staff
- Entries must be delivered to Shaker Village between 10am-4pm on December 4-5. Entrants will be asked to complete a registration form at that time. Please reach out to Shaker Village staff if you need to drop off your gingerbread creation outside of this timeframe.
