You’re invited to spend the weekend with the world-renowned musicians from New York’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS). CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han will present special performances in Shaker Village’s premiere venue, the Meadowview Barn, overlooking the rolling hills of Kentucky bluegrass. Chamber music enthusiasts will also enjoy two educational lectures, led by a representative from Lincoln Center, that explore the history of each piece of music in the festival.

Ticketing for the event is offered at two levels: Event Patrons and General Admission. You can view the music selections for each concert here.

Patron ticketholders are treated to a private preview concert, private dining with the musicians and reserved seating at each concert. Patron Packages available beginning November 1, 2021.

General Admission provides entrance into the corresponding concert. Seating is open and is filled on a first-come basis. Tickets will be held at Will Call for pick up prior to the concert(s). General Admission tickets available beginning February 8, 2022 at 10:00 am. Room and dining reservations also open for booking on February 8, 2022.

The Educational Lectures are open for all to enjoy.

Halloween 5k

2021 Kiwanis Halloween 5k at Shaker Village

Put on your running shoes and tackle the rolling landscape of Shaker Village for this Halloween-themed run/walk event that supports our local Kiwanis Club!

The Halloween 5k is on paved surfaces, and begins near the Village's Welcome Center, going out and back from the historic West Lot. Runners are encouraged to wear (and run in!) costumes for our costume contest, and additional awards will be given to the top male and female runners by age groups.

After the 5k, the kids will love our 1 Mile "Wizard Chase" around the Historic Centre of the Village, that begins at 10:30!

Participants in both the 5k and the Wizard Chase will receive a complimentary, individual admission to Shaker Village.

Community Sing

Shaker Village Community Sing!

Are you curious to see (and hear!) what it would have been like for the Shakers to sing together in the Meeting House? On a weekly basis hundreds of Shakers gathered to sing and dance in this incredible space.

Join us for our 3rd annual Shaker Village Community Sing and experience the space as the Shakers would have, through song.

We will be singing many Shaker hymns, but also incorporating traditional Gospel hymns, folk music and other styles in the workshops facilitated by incredible leaders, for a musical session that any music lover will enjoy!

Admission fees are waived for the Shaker Village Community Sing. Instead, we will accept a donation at any level to support the preservation of Shaker Village.

Dinner Theatre: “Frankie Stein’s Halloween Extravaganza!” – Sold Out

Show Synopsis

After flunking out of med school, Frankie Stein is pursuing his passion for television by hosting a Halloween-themed gameshow with a Bill Nye twist and a dash of Martha Stewart! His lovely vampiric assistant, Gertrude, and his loyal henchman, Smigor, try to hold things together as the pilot episode begins to implode in front of a live studio audience (that’s you!).

Unfortunately, the big finale is cut short when reviving Frankie Stein’s monster ends with one corner of a love triangle snuffed out, and the audience finds themselves in yet another CSI spinoff. Can you figure who did it when everyone is guilty?

Includes performance, food, nonalcoholic beverages, tax and tip.

The Shaker Dinner Theatre has an all-inclusive fixed dinner and menu, and special dietary accommodations must be communicated in advance. Availability is limited and advanced registration and non-refundable prepayment required.

The Shaker Dinner Theatre is a communal dining experience, and guests should expect to share their table with other dining enthusiasts.
