Enjoy a beautiful five-mile ride on historic Shaker Village trails as part of the Long Run Woodford Hounds Hunter Pace! Hunter paces are fun, family-friendly competitions where riders can ride over a course with jumps or just walk and trot at their leisure.

Bring your horse and join the fun in the West Lot at Shaker Village. Prizes will be given and there is a lead line pony division for children as well. There will be a two mile walk/run trail for hikers and a prize for best costume.

$55.00 per person to ride. Pre-register below or register onsite the day of the event.

A special overnight room rate is available for event guests on Friday, August 13. Use promotional code PACE when booking the room online. Stall and paddock rentals are available at The Stables at Shaker Village for those arriving the day before.

The greatest combination of live music, amazing food and a farm-fresh setting you could ever imagine! Join us for an evening on the lawn between the historic 1839 Trustees’ Office and the Shaker Village garden.

Music on the Lawn features live music, outdoor dining, drinks and specialty cocktails around the fire pit. Don’t forget to enjoy a marshmallow roast, grab a cocktail and then take in a special evening tour.

No admission is required and music begins at 6:30 pm.

The Shaker celebration of Christmas has changed a lot in the 200+ years that the Shaker religion has existed in America. Together we will trace the evolution of Christmas celebrations in Shaker communities like Pleasant Hill and compare them to the contemporary interpretations of the holiday season.
