Tour: Travel Tales

Journey through the Village on hayride while hearing how the incredible infrastructure at Pleasant Hill helped to expand the Shakers' relations with the surrounding region. Discover what threats manifested at the doorstep of Pleasant Hill along a single road that served as a conduit to the world.

Price: $5 for ages 6 +

Adult supervision required for all children under the age of 16.

Enjoy baseball as it was played in the 1860s with this exciting match-up between the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings and the Bluegrass Barons!

Both teams will wear period-reproduction uniforms and use period-reproduction equipment while following baseball rules from the late-19th century. Discover the origins of America’s pastime and how much the game has changed in the last 150 years!

Attendance to the Vintage Baseball Game is included in your general admission to the Village, and can be purchased day-of in the Welcome Center.

Bring your own lawn chair, and we'll provide the shade tree!

The greatest combination of live music, amazing food and a farm-fresh setting you could ever imagine! Join us for an evening on the lawn beside the historic Trustees’ Office and the Shaker Village garden.

Music on the Lawn features live music, outdoor dining, drinks and specialty cocktails around the fire pits. Don’t forget to enjoy a marshmallow roast, grab a cocktail and then take in a special $5 After 5:00 tour.

No admission is required, and music begins at 5:30 pm.

* Outdoor dining is limited, and weather dependent.
* Please bring your own lawn chair to ensure seating.
* $5 admission only required if attending tours or indoor exhibits.
