One of Kentucky’s premier craft events, the Shaker Village Craft Fair attracts the elite among regional artisans, as well as up-and-coming new artists.

This annual event boasts an assortment of crafts, including exceptional pottery, jewelry, glassware, woven rugs, needlecraft, basketry, leather goods, floral design and Shaker reproductions.

While on-site, enjoy the Shaker Village Bar, live music and food trucks including: Southern Style Kettle Corn, HogTown Barbecue Social Eatery, Captain Franks Hotdog Emporium, Mercer County Cattlemen's Association, Grillin' Good Eats, Serenity Sweet Snow and The Scoop.

General admission is discounted for Craft Fair weekend and includes access to historic tours, exhibits and other Shaker Village experiences.

Come out and celebrate the dad in your life with a day of baseball, cars, tools, antiques, great food and live music!

Vintage Baseball | 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Enjoy baseball as it was played in the 1860s with this exciting match-up between the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings and the Bluegrass Barons.

Both teams will wear period-reproduction uniforms and use period-reproduction equipment while following baseball rules from the late-19th century. Discover the origins of America’s pastime and how much the game has changed in the last 150 years.

Bring your own lawn chair, and we'll provide the shade tree.

Vintage Car & Tractor Show | Noon-5:00 p.m.

This part of the day really gets our motor running (we had to have a dad joke somewhere)! Tour vintage cars and tractors, and meet their owners to learn more about collecting and caring for these unique pieces of Americana.

Vintage Tool Displays | Noon-5:00 p.m.

Learn more about the hand tools of days-gone-by and speak with tool historian Calvin Shewmaker about their use and care.

Hot Dogs! Get your Hot Dogs heeeere (and a lot more)!

Food trucks specializing in burgers, hotdogs and barbecue, as well as a beer tent will be available throughout the day. The Post Office Shop will also have grab-and-go items including sandwiches, chips, sweet treats and drinks.

You’re invited to spend the weekend with the world-renowned musicians from New York’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS). CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han will present special performances in Shaker Village’s premiere venue, the Meadowview Barn, overlooking the rolling hills of Kentucky bluegrass. Chamber music enthusiasts will also enjoy two educational lectures led by a representative from Lincoln Center that explore the history of each piece of music in the festival.

Ticketing for the event is offered at two levels: Event Patrons and General Admission.

Patron ticketholders are treated to a private preview concert, private dining with the musicians and reserved seating at each concert. Patron Packages will be available on December 5, 2022.

General Admission provides entrance into the corresponding concert. Seating is open and is filled on a first-come basis. Tickets will be held at Will Call for pick up prior to the concert(s). General Admission tickets room and dining reservations will be available on February 28, 2023.

The Educational Lectures are open for all to enjoy.

It’s time for some family fun on The Farm! Meet and interact with our new baby “farmily” members including lambs, kids, chicks, piglets, calves, miniature donkeys and many more. We’ll also have activity stations, sheep shearing, hay wagon rides, a hay bale maze, scavenger hunts, pony rides and more surprises.

Join us by purchasing regular daily admission tickets onsite at the Welcome Center, available from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for Family Farm Days.

Celebrate spring with this egg-citing family event! Kids ages 12 and under are invited to hunt for eggs, meet the newest additions to the Farm family, make a craft, take a pony ride and much more! Return your eggs to candy stations to receive treats. In addition to our regular egg hunts, your family is invited to participate in the Village-wide golden egg hunt to win a fantastic prize.

Food trucks will provide a variety of meal options and the Shaker Village bar will be open for adults in attendance.

Tickets are limited per hunt time to ensure a good experience for all. The egg hunt field will be divided by age groups during each time.

Please bring your own basket. Adult supervision required.

But, have you ever considered that Shaker Village would be a perfect location to read a good book…or two? Come for a weekend getaway to enjoy reading while meeting fellow book lovers and participating in discussions and book-themed fun.

This package includes a Friday and Saturday night stay in one of Shaker Village's incredible historic guest rooms, one copy of the retreat book, The Pie Seller, the Drunk, and the Lady: Heroes of the 1833 Cholera Epidemic in Lexington, Kentucky by Terry Foody, RN, MSN that will be mailed out to each retreat participant, an in-room gift of a journal and pen to use during your stay, special programming to immerse yourself in our retreat book, breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday, and a private dinner and book discussion on Saturday night with the author. This package is available for either single or double-occupancy pricing.
