Night Hike: Wolf Moon
Saturday, January 15 | 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Why is it called a “Wolf Moon?”
Historically, this was the time of year when it was more common to hear hungry wolf packs howling.
The night sky and the cosmos have been a source of inspiration and amazement throughout human history. Join us for an evening at Pleasant Hill and explore the starry sky and our nocturnal animals! On this gentle hike through the Preserve, take in the wonders of the prairie and forest at night while discovering some of the mysteries and curiosities of the universe. Along the way, we will listen to the enchanting sounds of the night, observe the night sky, and learn fun facts about the moon.
