2026 Animal Tracks Nature Hike

Trying to find your footing in identifying common animal tracks? On this hike through Shaker Village's Preserve you'll be introduced to some of central Kentucky's native species and their footprints. You'll have a whole new appreciation for damp and muddy ground as we take a close look at who's been out and about in the Preserve!

This hike will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Participants will traverse 1.5-3.0 miles of gravel, grass, and dirt pathways. Participants may wish to bring sturdy shoes, insect repellant and water.
This program is intended for ages 16+. Tickets required for all attendees. Dogs are not permitted.
Registered attendees who book an overnight stay at The Inn receive a 30% discount, applied at checkout. (Overnight stay must be for the date immediately preceding or succeeding the program. Discount applies to one night. Cannot be combined with other offers.)
