Night Hike: Animals of the Night
Saturday, July 25 @ 9:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
A completely different set of animals become active when dusk falls. Join us for an evening hike and discover the nocturnal animals that inhabit the prairie and forests of Pleasant Hill!
On this gentle hike through the Preserve we will learn about owls, bats, deer and other creatures that begin to emerge in the twilight and flourish in the darkness. Along the way, we will explore how these animals are especially suited to thrive in the nighttime environment.
Annual Passholder: FREE
Non-Annual Passholder: $5
The program will begin at sunset and continue until after dark. Participants should bring flashlights to assist in returning to vehicles or rooms at the conclusion of the evening.
To ensure the safety of our guests and staff all participants will be required to wear a mask. When gathered in a group masks must be worn, but when hiking they may be removed. Social distancing will also be enforced.
