2026 Crepuscular Critters: Summer

As twilight descends and day-loving humans and animals begin to think of sleep, a whole host of animals are just beginning to stir. Crespuscular creatures like bats, raccoons, foxes, and deer are all most active just as dusk falls and twilight begins. What does summer on Shaker Village's Preserve look like for these nighttime neighbors of ours?
Experience the seasons of Shaker Village through this series of hikes. Join us for additional hikes in the winter, spring, and fall.

This hike will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Participants will traverse 3.0+ miles of gravel, grass, and dirt pathways. Participants may wish to bring flashlight/headlamp, insect repellant and water.
This program is intended for ages 16+. Tickets required for all attendees. Dogs are not permitted.
