2021 Geologic Walk Through Time

Walk through millions of years of geologic time as you descend along the river road into the Kentucky River Palisades. Our guides will show how the geology of the region has shaped what we see above ground today!

Program fee includes one complimentary admission to Shaker Village and one voucher redeemable for 20% off dining at the Trustees’ Table (excluding alcoholic beverages). Dining reservation recommended to assure availability, call 859.734.5411.

This program is for guests ages 10 and up. If ages 10-17, guests must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Discovery Trek tickets will not be mailed in advance. Please check in at the Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to the activities’ scheduled start time.

Directions to the Welcome Center: After turning into Shaker Village from US-68, turn left at the three-way stop. Immediately turn right into the large parking lot. The Welcome Center is the red brick building that sits at the northeast corner of the parking lot.
