Fresh produce from the garden and a strong sense of community are Shaker traditions that continue today at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. Join us as the Mercer County Farmer's Market comes to the Village.

We'll be selling our certified-organic produce fresh from the Shaker Garden along with cut flowers from our beds and other farm items like mushroom logs. Join us as we share our incredible produce with our neighbors from around the region.

Why is it called a Buck Moon? Normally, this is the time of year when male deer grow new antlers!

The night sky and the cosmos have been a source of inspiration and amazement throughout human history. Join us for an evening at Pleasant Hill and explore the starry sky! On this gentle hike through the Preserve, take in the wonders of the prairie and forest at night while discovering some of the mysteries and curiosities of the universe. Along the way, we will observe constellations and learn fun facts about the moon and its importance in our lives!

Fresh Food Adventures are communal dining experiences, and guests should expect to share their table with other dining enthusiasts.

Owls are creatures that have fascinated humans for thousands of years. Hunting in our forests at night, owls are mysterious and rarely seen by human eyes.

Join us for an evening in the woods and learn all about these amazing animals. After dark, we will call—and listen—for owls in the surrounding trees!
