The Meeting House at 200

Saturday, October 31 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Meeting House

Join us as we celebrate 200 years of the Meeting House! Officially completed by the Shakers on October 31, 1820, the Pleasant Hill Meeting House has seen 200 years of history, and we want to share it with you.

The Pleasant Hill Meeting House was built to serve a purpose.  As the place of worship for the Shakers, the Meeting House acted as the spiritual center of the community, drawing all members together in union. This building witnessed close to a century of Shaker worship before falling into private hands. While use of the space has changed over time, the original structure remains.

Come out to explore the Meeting House, and enjoy a day of tours and activities. Be sure to stop by the Welcome Center first for your Meeting House at 200 program.

Participation is included with your paid Admission to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill.
