Join us to learn the traditional art of candle making! During this workshop, we will make both dipped and scented candles using a blend of historic and modern methods.

All necessary materials are provided. No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

David Shadwick of Pod’s Forge is a master craftsman who makes the copper lanterns, brackets, wrought iron candle holders and boot scrapers that you see throughout Shaker Village. Shadwick will bring his forge out to the Village and make nails in this fun informative demonstration.
