Each Fresh Food Adventure has an all-inclusive fixed dinner and spirits menu. Please communicate any special dietary restrictions in advance. Availability is limited and advanced registration and non-refundable prepayment required.

Fresh Food Adventures are communal dining experiences, and guests should expect to share their table with other dining enthusiasts.

Please follow on-site directional signage to event location and plan on checking in 15 minutes prior to the event start time. Event tickets will not be mailed in advance.

Join us to learn a heritage craft that links us to over 200 years of tradition making brooms at Pleasant Hill. We begin with small brushes, learning our craft and moving up to Cobwebbers - a hand-tied broom built on a handle. All necessary materials are provided.
No experience necessary and all levels are encouraged to join.

Shaker Village manages over 1,000 acres of restored, native prairie. By establishing and caring for this important habitat, native wildlife, like Bobwhite Quail, have flourished.
Once a year, Shaker Village offers the public the opportunity to hunt wild quail in this native habitat through a hunt lottery.
Habitat management requires significant funding to conduct regular controlled burns, herbicide treatments, plantings and monitoring. Proceeds from The Heritage Hunt for Bobwhite Quail help Shaker Village provide this maintenance, and create a sustainable system so future generations may enjoy Kentucky's native flora and fauna. In addition, wildlife management through controlled hunts helps to sustain a healthier quail population.

Take a hayride, enjoy live music, food + drink, and warm up by the bonfires. Make a kids’ craft in-between candy stops and take part in our selfie station costume contest.

This program is for guests of all ages. Your ticket includes entry into the event and admission for Shaker Village tours and exhibits. Participants ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult.
Join Canoe Kentucky guides for an adventure along picturesque stretches of the Kentucky and Dix rivers. Paddle beneath the imposing Palisades as the leaves begin their autumn change.
This 3-4-hour paddle includes a sack lunch along the banks of the river. This program is for guests ages 12 and up. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Program fee includes one complimentary admission to Shaker Village and one voucher redeemable for 20% off dining at The Trustees’ Table (excluding alcoholic beverages). Dining reservation recommended to assure availability, call 859.734.5411.
