Spend the weekend with world-acclaimed chamber musicians from New York’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS). Now in its thirteenth year, and as seen on PBS’s Live From Lincoln Center, the Chamber Music Festival of the Bluegrass is a Central Kentucky cultural destination.

Join CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han for special performances in the Meadow View Barn at 11:00 am and 5:00 pm on both the Saturday and Sunday of the weekend.

Chamber music enthusiasts will enjoy two educational lectures, led by a representative from Lincoln Center, that explore the history of each piece of music in the festival.

Join us for an open house to learn more about this summer’s upcoming Explorer Camp! Bring your questions for the Camp Director and get a sneak peek of where campers will spend their time!

There will be three, one-week sessions of 2019 Explorer Camp:
June 10-14, June 17-21 + June 24-28.

Summer camp can be one of the most valuable experiences in a child’s life. Explorer Camp allows children ages 6-12 to learn new skills and make friends at one of the most spectacular National Historic Landmarks in the world.

During this one-week day camp, trained staff will guide children through adventures in The Preserve, on The Farm, on the Kentucky River and throughout The Historic Centre.

Pricing: $235 per person
Register before April 1: $205 per person

Fee includes full-day of programming throughout the week, two healthy snacks per day, Shaker Village water bottle and free annual family membership ($125 value - begins after camp attendance). Campers must bring their own, non-perishable sack lunch.

Bring the kids for a fun and spooky evening along the Village road gathering treats (and maybe even a trick or two)!

Take a complimentary hay ride, enjoy live music, food + drink, and warm up by the bonfires. Make a kids’ craft in-between candy stops and take part in our selfie station costume contest!
