Join us for an open house to learn more about this summer’s upcoming Explorer Camp! Bring your questions for the Camp Director and get a sneak peek of where campers will spend their time!

There will be three, one-week sessions of 2019 Explorer Camp:
June 10-14, June 17-21 + June 24-28.

Summer camp can be one of the most valuable experiences in a child’s life. Explorer Camp allows children ages 6-12 to learn new skills and make friends at one of the most spectacular National Historic Landmarks in the world.

During this one-week day camp, trained staff will guide children through adventures in The Preserve, on The Farm, on the Kentucky River and throughout The Historic Centre.

Pricing: $235 per person
Register before April 1: $205 per person

Fee includes full-day of programming throughout the week, two healthy snacks per day, Shaker Village water bottle and free annual family membership ($125 value - begins after camp attendance). Campers must bring their own, non-perishable sack lunch.

Bring the kids for a fun and spooky evening along the Village road gathering treats (and maybe even a trick or two)!

Take a complimentary hay ride, enjoy live music, food + drink, and warm up by the bonfires. Make a kids’ craft in-between candy stops and take part in our selfie station costume contest!

Enjoy a kid-friendly buffet brunch – either in our restaurant, Trustees’ Table, or on the Trustees’ Lawn – and then get a hands-on introduction to the newest additions to our Farm family, including lambs, kids, chicks and much more!

Celebrate spring with this egg-citing family event! Kids of all ages are invited to hunt for eggs, meet the newest additions to the Farm family, make a craft and much more! Return your eggs to candy stations to receive treats! In addition to our regular egg hunts, your family is invited to participate in the Village-wide golden egg hunt to win a fantastic gift basket!

Food trucks will provide a variety of meal options and the Shaker Village bar will be open for adults in attendance.

Tickets are limited per hunt time to ensure a good experience for all. The egg hunt field will be divided by age groups during each time.

Please bring your own basket. Adult supervision required.
