Shaker Village Community Sing!
Saturday, September 7, ongoing from 10:30 am - 6:00 pm
Are you curious to see (and hear!) what it would have been like for the Shakers to sing together in the Meeting House? On a weekly basis hundreds of Shakers gathered to sing and dance in this incredible space.
Join us on September 7 for our second annual Shaker Village Community Sing and experience the space as the Shakers would have, through song.
Start the day with our Meeting House Community Sing and stick around for our interactive music workshops. (Choose to stay for as much or as little as you'd like!)
We will be singing many Shaker hymns, but also incorporating traditional Gospel hymns, folk music and other styles in the workshops facilitated by incredible leaders, for a full day that any music lover will enjoy!
