2024 Fall Stand Up Paddle

Come and explore the Kentucky River Palisades in the Fall! Paddle (standing up) the Kentucky and Dix Rivers amongst the cliffs and High Bridge.
Stand up paddleboard rentals are provided by Kentucky by Paddle out of Shaker Landing. Make your reservation for a specific start time, fill out your paperwork online, and then away you go to explore the river. Stand Up Paddleboard Rental: $75 per person
Bring Your Own Paddleboard: $35 per person
Feeling adventurous? Don't miss another opportunity to join us Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. for a SPOOKY guided paddle. Make sure you wear your best costume and decorate your boats!
Participants should bring water shoes, hat, towel, sunscreen, bug spray and should wear suitable clothes in case you end up in the Kentucky River. Expect cooler temperatures as we mark the arrival of Fall.
This program is for guests ages 12 and up. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Advanced purchase is required, no on-site purchases.
Guests should plan to arrive ahead of their start time and meet at the bottom of River Road (Shaker Ferry Road) located .25 miles east of the main Shaker Village entrance, on the opposite side of US 68. There is a Shaker Landing sign at the road’s entrance.
