2026 Teen Service Leadership

This unique and engaging experience for campers ages 13-14 is designed to recognize and enhance leadership skills. Leadership begins through service to others, and a key component of Teen Service Leadership is the integration of service projects and facilitated teambuilding initiatives.

Alongside trained Shaker Village staff, campers will learn techniques for organic gardening and the management of rare ecosystems, while completing projects that will fill them with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Campers will also take part in daily teambuilding activities to guide their development both as leaders and as members of a team. Each day will have plenty of time for additional games, recreation activities and fun built into the schedule.

Pricing: $285 per camper

Register before April 1: $260 per camper

Registration fee includes full-day programming throughout the week, two healthy snacks per day (one AM, one PM) and a Camp t-shirt. Campers must bring their own, non-perishable sack lunch. 

Teen Service Leadership is designed for campers who are between the ages of 13-14 years old at the time of their Camp session.

Camp registration includes a Family Membership to Shaker Village ($160 value). A Membership includes free admission to Shaker Village, a 10% discount in The Shops and The Trustees’ Table, a 30% discount in the Inn, a 20% discount on workshops and Discovery Treks, and special discounts on other programs and events. One Membership will be issued per household, regardless of the total number of Camp registrations.

We understand that summer plans can change, affecting your teen’s ability to attend Teen Service Leadership during their registered week. We will be happy to either transfer your child to another week of Teen Service Leadership (contingent on availability) or add their name to a waitlist. No refunds will be issued after May 1, 2026.
