Jefferson County Residents Can Visit the Village for Free Through May 31, 2023
Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill welcomes our neighbors from Jefferson County to escape to the Village free of charge in response to the tragic shootings that took place in Louisville, Ky. Residents can discover the peacefulness of Kentucky’s largest National Historic Landmark now through May 31, 2023.
Shaker Village is an 80-minute drive from the Louisville area and provides a peaceful escape for visitors looking to unplug and recharge. With 3,000 acres of wide-open spaces there is much to discover. The Village provides wonderful opportunities to connect with nature, farm
animals and history.
Visitors can check-in at the Welcome Center by showing a Jefferson County ID to receive their free admission pass, and they can also spend the night at the historic Shaker Village Inn with a 10% discount. Overnight stays can be booked online or by calling 859.734.5411. Your 10% discount will be applied at check-in when you provide your ID.
