Join us to learn a heritage craft that links us to a 200 year tradition of broom making at Pleasant Hill. In this workshop you will begin by making smaller brushes and progress to creating a Turkey Wing broom (a hand-tied variation of a traditional flat broom). Learn to wrap, tie and finish hand-made brooms just like the Shakers did.
All necessary materials are provided. No experience necessary and all levels are encouraged to join.
