Learn painting techniques with local artist, Marianna McDonald. Join in on the fun and learn how the beauty of Shaker Village has influenced some of her beautiful pieces. Marianna’s work will be available for purchase at the Welcome Center.

Demonstrations take place at the Welcome Center, and participation is included with Admission to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill

David Shadwick of Pod’s Forge is a master craftsman who makes the copper lanterns, brackets, wrought iron candle holders and boot scrapers that you see throughout Shaker Village.

Shadwick will bring his forge to the Village and make nails in this fun, informative demonstration.
