Artisan Lawson Whitt will be hand-making brooms on his antique equipment. Join in on the fun and learn how these household helpers are made. Lawson’s brooms will be available for purchase at the Welcome Center.

Demonstrations take place at the Welcome Center. Participation is included with Admission to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill.

A private dinner will be prepared and served in our cozy West Family Dwelling Cellar, and to end the evening you'll stroll to the amphitheater to enjoy a star gazing program.

A fun getaway package for families the weekend following the Fourth of July. Enjoy a one or two night stay in a historic guest room.

This getaway includes an evening hayride around the Village, with cocktails for adults and sweet treats for the kids. You'll find a s'more kit in your room to use at our various outdoor fire pits. The Trustees' Table restaurant will be firing up the grill for a cookout (weather permitting) where guests can purchase hotdogs and hamburgers while hanging out and listening to our popular Music on the Lawn concert.

In the morning you'll enjoy breakfast at The Trustees' Table before heading out on a morning hike.

The perfect getaway with your favorite ladies! Whether you want to bring your mother or daughter, or a group of your best girlfriends, this weekend is designed to pamper you.

This package includes a two-night stay in one of Shaker Village's historic guest rooms on Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday evening you'll enjoy complimentary drink tickets to sip and relax while listening to our Music on the Lawn concert. Breakfast is included on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

You'll enjoy a full schedule of activities on Saturday while spending quality time together. Saturday's agenda includes goat yoga, a Using the Camera as a Tool for Healing photography workshop, a boxed lunch that you can enjoy anywhere in the Village, a sip and paint workshop in the afternoon and a private dinner with the group.

On Sunday, following breakfast, you'll go on a nature journaling hike before you checkout.
