One of Kentucky’s premier craft events, the Shaker Village Craft Fair attracts the elite among regional artisans, as well as up-and-coming new artists.

This annual event boasts an assortment of crafts, including exceptional pottery, jewelry, glassware, woven rugs, needle craft, basketry, leather goods, floral design and Shaker reproductions.

While on-site, enjoy the Shaker Village Grill and Bar, live music and food trucks including Bluegrass Foods, Captain Franks Hotdog Emporium, Hogtown BBQ, Louisiana Passion Catering, The Mousetrap, The Roosters Whistle, The Scoop and Southern Kettle Corn.

General admission is discounted for Craft Fair weekend and includes access to historic tours, exhibits and other Shaker Village experiences.

Venture into a world of discovery with Shaker Village Explorer Summer Camp! Summer camp can be one of the most valuable experiences in a child’s life. Explorer Camp allows children ages 6-12 to learn new skills and make friends at one of the most spectacular National Historic Landmarks in the world.

During this one-week camp, trained staff will guide children through adventures in The Preserve, on The Farm, on the Kentucky River and throughout The Historic Centre. Register by April 1 to receive our early-bird discount!

Pricing: $245 per camper
Register before April 1: $215 per camper

Registration fee includes full-day programming throughout the week, two healthy snacks per day (one AM, one PM: granola bar, cheese stick, piece of fruit, etc.) Shaker Village t-shirt, and free annual family membership ($135 value - begins after camp attendance). Campers must bring their own, non-perishable sack lunch.

Take your smartphone photography to another level!  Learn to take beautiful photos on your iPhone (iOS) while visiting all areas of Shaker Village, from buildings to exhibits, and agricultural to natural landscape.

Join photographer Carol Peachee as we explore the Village, learn photo tips for taking great-looking images, and discover editing tricks and apps to make your photos more compelling.

At the end of the workshop you will be invited to share your images with the Village and win the opportunity to have your photo used on the Shaker Village Instagram!

Additional Information

The Shaker Dinner Theatre has an all-inclusive fixed dinner and menu, and special dietary accommodations must be communicated in advance. Availability is limited and advanced registration and non-refundable prepayment required.

The Shaker Dinner Theatre is a communal dining experience, and guests should expect to share their table with other dining enthusiasts.

Parties wishing to sit together and guests with special dietary considerations should email [email protected] at least one week in advance to ensure accommodations.

Please follow on-site directional signage to event location and plan on checking-in 15 minutes prior to the event start time. Event tickets will not be mailed in advance.
